Understanding Opioid Use Disorder: supportive strategies for prevention and long-term recovery conference
This event brings together diverse partners to outline strategies and lay the foundation of lasting partnerships to identify patients in need, treat OUD, and aid in long-term recovery from opioid dependence. It includes both presentations and interactive workshops to build skills and deepen understanding of the disease and how to effectively support patients who suffer from OUD.

Session Description: Small groups consisting of a diverse group of practitioners will evaluate a fictional patient for potential opioid misuse or use disorder, discuss treatment options, discuss how healthcare team would work together to provide team-based care to the patients given their different fields, and develop a patient care plan.

To Earn CPE Credit: In order to receive credit, the pharmacist must attend the full conference and hand in a meeting evaluation and mark down the code that is given for the activity as validation of attending. The evaluation as well as your NABP e-profile ID and birth date MMDD will need to be received by the WSPA in order for you to receive credit.
The Washington State Pharmacy Association only has 60 days from the date of the activity to upload the CPE information to the CPE Monitor and will upload the CE within 30 days of the event. It will be your responsibility to check the CPE Monitor before the 60 days to make sure the CE is uploaded in your profile. If there are any problems, you will need to contact WSPA 425-228-7171.
